Potable Water Tanks
Many people ask what is potable water so let us explain. Potable water is water that's safe for drinking which instead of coming out of your mains tap (which has already been treated) the potable water comes from surface or ground water and then is filtered and treated to make it safe for consumption. If water is not filtered or treated properly then it can cause harmful diseases and severe sickness and diarrhea to human beings.
Rainwater can be saved and stored then filtered and chemically treated into potable water which can be safe for drinking. We manufacture a wide range of water storage tanks which include potable versions which are different to standard water tanks as ours have all been made with a WRAS approved polymer which ensures they are safe for human consumption. Potable water can be used for commercial and domestic use and can save a lot of money when not relying on the mains water.
