SuDS?
The terms SuDS stands for Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems and what it means to have a SuDS in place it is designed to mimic a natural runoff water drainage. The SuDS system will benefit many by controlling the volume and the flow of water and will reduce the buildup of surface water which in vunerable areas could prevent flooding. This has a big impact for housing and local communities.
Attenuation
Attenuation focuses on persuing other methods to slow down the pace of the flow of water for example collecting and storing rainwater in a storage tank which again reduces flooding.
