Collection: Milk Tanks

Remember when storing milk, it must be protected from contamination during transfer and storage. It must be cooled quickly to minimise bacteria multiplication. Milk storage tanks must be cleaned and disinfected after each milk collection and kept in good condition. Storage tanks must be adequately sealed to prevent physical contamination of milk. Containers and tanks used for the transport of raw milk must be cleaned and disinfected in an appropriate manner before re-use.
